There’s nothing like a Week of Outfits post on Cup of Jo. The series has been a long-time favorite of mine for a few reasons. First of all, a week lets you get a sense of wearable outfits, the kind beyond special occasion dressing or a fancy date. I also love the series and its real life guests, not just fashion influencers with an endless stream of options.

(I would shoutout Big Salad, but I have the data to prove that most of you are already readers) asked me to contribute my own week of looks, I was thrilled.

My initial reaction was likely the terror a food lover might feel when prompted with the common last meal question. Just five outfits? How? Luckily, after a minor freakout, I remembered I’ve been dressing in pretty much the same pieces since I graduated from onesies.

Let’s get into my decisions behind each look, how you can shop some of my core pieces new and secondhand, and what the day of shooting was like. All photos are by the lovely Yumi Matsuo. And you can read the piece here with lots of context on outfits.
