I started a Substack three years ago because I wanted to write for myself.

Not for an editor or for grad school, just for me, and about whatever I wanted. My following grew incrementally for the first few years, despite sending letters regularly. Then I quit my full time job and committed to this letter seriously.

My last day was mid-April 2024

I’ve helped a lot of friends launch their Substacks, eventually making it a part of my consulting business, and now, I want to share all my best practices with you.
