How can I thrift around this year’s Met Gala theme?

The idea of shopping secondhand off of a theme is quite festive and I applaud the reader who inquired. This might be too literal, but we should all be buying our watches and clocks secondhand. New batteries and those babies have an entirely fresh lease on life.

How should I style necklaces?

Think long and short! I generally wear a super long chain with sentimental charms dangling from the end, which makes paring with a number of shorter necklaces a breeze. I think this Dorsey necklace makes a great starting point. My favorite combination is always vintage tshirt + fancy necklace. Example: tie dye tshirt plus string of pearls. I love that the freshwater option below feels even more irreverent.
