When I started planning this EV Salon with Fashionphile, I knew guests would show up in incredible outfits and was thrilled Kate Owen was there to photograph it all.
Black, White, and—Occasionally—A Pop of Red
I love wearing brands I feel connected to for Salon days. This time around, I opted for a Tory Burch polo dress, this Hill House headband (no headache), and these loafers. Perhaps most notably, I was in a Chanel bag from Fashionphile in a dreamy shade of red.

I refuse to make a Devil Wears Prada joke here. The reality is florals are almost always a great option for an event. I loved seeing mini florals and preppy florals and even an ironic floral or two.
What if you wore a vintage floral dress with a built-in cape? This one’s $45.

A baseball hat is always the right move. This one from the Odeon is my fav and $35.
Frilly In The Best Way
Details are everything and I love the little ways these looks feel elevated and special.
People aren’t wearing enough embroidered silk shirts! Why not get Edwardian with it? ($48)
I love the idea of this with jeans. It’s a silk blend and under $20.
White Dresses
In the summer, a white dress is always my response when I don’t know what to wear and can’t stand being in the heat for one more minute. It’s polished, cool, and as evidenced below, photographs well.
This one reads a little cream but it’s only $120 on sale. Love!

VERY importantly, this Donni dress has a built-in shelf bra.
