I love the suggestion of personalised stationary, that’s something I’ve been thinking about. And I’d add keeping a small spray bottle of lavender oil mixed with water in the shower - give the shower wall a spritz not long after turning the water on and the steam will smell of lavender. It’s relaxing and pure luxury.
Life upgrade: Doubling a cookie dough recipe and freezing whatever I don’t bake right away, pre-balled and ready to bake at 375 for 12 minutes. Perfect.
My small upgrade is ordering SEEN shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and styling cream online. Their products are great for my sensitive skin and they smell really good, unlike other sensitive skin-focused hair care products I’ve tried. Thanks for sharing your list, Erika! I’m also a huge fan of reusing pretty ribbon.
Life upgrade: turning my center console in my car into a trashcan. I like it with plastic bags that I get from grocery pick up (the worst part about grocery pickup!) and now I always have a place for trash so it’s not flittering about the car.
Also just purchased a new pill organizer that doesn’t look like the one my grandparents used. I can actually read the days on the top still and bonus it’s a super sleek design that doesn’t even look like a pill organizer. Because it isn’t as unsightly or bulky I can feel like I can leave it out when people come over!
It has all been on my “to do” list and never did any of it except for swapping the plastic with glass containers and that was a life changer too!
I do have my Taylor/cleaner who fixes my favorite well-lived clothes she fixed my favorite skirt whose used fabric tore on the side and a favorite vegan leather jacket that shredded in the collar.
Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m now motivated to do the rest of your/my list 🩶
Question: doesn’t the razor glide and slip off your hands while wet? I prefer the ones that have some rubber to hold well…
I’ve also started taking at least one art class a season. It’s been incredible and I have loved having the art (oil paintings, pottery mugs, etc) both to enjoy for myself and to give away to people I love.
I also started making a whole blender of green juice/smoothie and place it in 4-5 mason jars that I keep in my fridge. I drink this before my first cup of coffee every day- it’s helped with my insomnia and now I crave it.

perfect list for a perfect girl
Life upgrade: when I want new clothes, I organise a clothing swap with my girlfriends.
A few hours of snacking, drinking Prosecco, and trading clothes means I’m getting a dopamine hit of ‘new’ - without a dollar spent. I’m addicted!

ok chic and very sensorial !!!
It’s gorgeous and any essential oil works - the lavender is beautifully calming.
Life upgrade- two twin mattresses is the same size as one king but without the threat of being jostled awake or having your sheets stolen
very scandinavian of you I love

I actually can’t tell if this is an upgrade or a hack. If it’s a hack, it certainly makes my life feel upgraded!
Taking so many good things from this post. Thank you EV!
❤️❤️❤️
Yes to befriending a tailor! I’m thrilled whenever I walk into mine and he’s excited to see me

The day I read this, I went out and bought the Maison candle for myself. And you were right: it is an instant upgrade. Thank you!

Taking crafting classes has been a fun life upgrade—I learn new things and come away with a cool thing I’ve created
can you recommend a tailor/seamstress on Long Island please?
