Will always advocate for the comfiest socks, even bed socks, with that outfit for any medical related appointment. It’s the one item you never take off in most scenarios and lends a true bit of comfort!
As a SAHM, appts are often the only reason I have for dressing up, and I love having a reason to get ready. And I totally agree with the +1 concept! Loafers, a brighter lip, and/or a wool coat (instead of a puffer) are my usual ways to add something more to an outfit.
I love these suggestions, Erika! I call this "Clothing As Armour" - armour up by covering yourself in soft textiles, bold patterns, gobs of jewelry. I guarantee you will feel better. I have periodontal appointments every 6 months, where I have to take a happy pill, and have my mouth fully frozen (trust me, it's not a fun appointment), and I ALWAYS dress for it, usually something very sparkly, comforting and colourful. My tooth tech loves it!
I love the idea of road testing !!!! Genius - I’m going to try this. Thanks for the appointment inspo xx
yay of course!!!

Agree!!
I love that you carry a photo of your dad as a baby! That’s the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day.

Love this but HAVE to ask – how did wearing a JUMPSUIT to the OBGYN work out?🤪
