Love this! I found Gucci loafers for $400 at a thrift store in Santa Barbara this year and felt so guilty buying them, but this is making me feel like I really got an investment steal!
I bought mine (in black) about eight years ago and they hold up so well. I also remember paying around 600€ - and my than-boyfriend, now husband, telling me, I am totally nuts for spending that much money on shoes. 😄
If I were a size 10 I would buy those cow hide Gucci loafers in a second (I even had a moment where I was like “can I go two sizes up with a lot of socks…”)
I have a pair of Gucci mules that I bought from a fashion friend on Instagram for $150. One of my best ever fashion deals.
I still have my Gucci Princetown mules, I bought at their height of popularity and basically wore them to death. So comfortable and will probably keep forever! Love the loafers!
At the Gucci store in Florence in 2019 I bought two things; a gorgeous floral shawl that I adore and a pair of the Princetown black mules which I emphatically did not. I just sold them on Ebay this week. Should have bought the dang loafers!
I love the sentiment behind Grace's pair and if you really love something you will return to it season after season. I have a pair of secondhand Gucci loafers and I love them! They are a great buy (new or secondhand!)
Is a Gucci loafer any better designed, made, quality materials then something like G.H. Bass, or Sperry? Or is it just a name. This is what I wonder about. By chance do they refurbish their own products?
Thank you so much for having me (and for the kind words!). xx
❤️❤️❤️

Loved this and love Grace's shoes! Such a good reminder to invest in the classics :)
Same! She really got me thinking 💭
I'm a size 10 in women's but those cow print ones are listed as men's shoes :(
Ohhh good catch
I splurged on a pair last year and love them so much. Any tips on how to care for them for maximum longevity?
Yes! Two faves
I just bought my first pair from the Gucci store in the Amsterdam airport…a very good deal compared to buying in the U.S..!
smart!

I love the look SO much but find mules impossible to rip around in
Omg I think I need the cow print ones
they are...perfect
I bought mine in 2017 too! They were a gift of encouragement to myself while I was going to job interviews 💅🏻
So sweet ❤️

I just sent my mules to TRR today as I finally accepted /admitted I don’t like them on me. They sat in my closet for years and hardly worn.
You may not get much for them at TRR. I have had bad luck selling through them in the last year!
Those mules were EVERYTHING
Bwhahahah! Mine never were that comfortable TBH

Totally agree
Oh I have black pair, size 5 that I would sell
